Not a template
Most “personalized” books just swap in a name. This one is built entirely from your photos and your moments. Nothing is generic.
We use AI to turn each photo into a watercolor illustration. Your child’s face, their expressions, the places you’ve been together. Not clip art. Not cartoons.
You describe each moment in your own words. We turn those into a personalized rhyming story that ties the whole book together.
Name the book whatever you want. Write a dedication on the back. It’s your book from front to back.
Full digital proof. Edit the story text, review every page. Don’t love it? Full refund, no questions.
Your only job is choosing your favorite moments.
More than a keepsake
The AAP recommends reading aloud from birth. Kids who hear a book a day pick up 1.4 million more words before kindergarten. This one is about them.
Thick pages sized for small hands. Every page turn builds the grip and coordination they’ll use to hold a pencil later.
Chewing, bending, drool, drops off the high chair. Board books are made from heavy laminated cardboard. They can take it.
The AAP says no screens before 18 months and recommends physical books instead. Turns out toddlers learn better from things they can actually hold.
Research shows books that just swap in a name don’t do much. But when kids see their own face painted into the story, they pay more attention, remember more, and ask for it every night.
Fits in a diaper bag. Survives the stroller. The kind of thing you throw in before a car ride or a flight and it actually works.
Everything you need to know about your custom board book.
If you've ever priced out a custom watercolor book from an illustrator, you know it runs $250 or more. That work is worth it, but it wasn't a price we could make work for every family. So we use AI to create a similar watercolor style from your actual photos. Your kid's face, their expressions, all of it stays. People usually think an artist painted it.
You'll need 16 photos — one for each page of your board book. If you have a favorite, you can reuse it for the front or back cover, so you only need a minimum of 14 unique photos. After checkout, your book-building page saves your progress so you can take your time uploading.
Clear, well-lit photos with recognizable faces or subjects work best. Candid everyday moments, pet photos, and family snapshots are all perfect. We recommend photos where the subject fills most of the frame.
After you approve your proof, printing and shipping typically takes 10-14 business days. You'll receive tracking information once your book ships.
